Firmware
Betaflight is the only currently supported firmware for MW F722. Support here refers to MWE's product support; it does not assert a particular listing or review status in an upstream firmware project.

Before an update
- Record the board revision, reported target, and installed firmware version.
- Save a configuration backup using the Betaflight guide.
- Obtain the MWE-approved target, release, and required options for that revision.
- Review the release notes and any configuration migration requirements.
- Remove propellers, leave the battery disconnected, and use a reliable USB data connection.
Once those details are confirmed, use Betaflight's firmware flasher instructions. This edition intentionally does not prescribe a firmware selection or flash image until the target is verified.
After an update
Reconnect and confirm the reported target and version. Recheck sensor orientation, ports, receiver, modes, failsafe, motor configuration, and power readings. Restore only settings appropriate to the installed firmware; a backup from another board or release can contain incompatible settings.
Recovery
If an update fails, record the error, USB device name, and firmware selection. Contact MWE support for the revision-specific recovery procedure. Do not bridge unidentified pads or use a bootloader image from a different controller.
